Every year, we’re always asked what our favorite brewery was and we never have a great answer. So here is Part 1 of our Best of 2025 series. Please visit Part 2 and Part 3 here for the rest of the awards!
The Local Pub (Tie)
The “Local Pub” is the phrase we use to describe breweries that we would frequent if it was in our town. A place we could unwind after work, or catch up with friends and neighbors. A place where the locals always sit in their assigned seat and are on a first name basis with the beertenders. Cozy and community vibe. This year, we couldn’t choose just one—both of these spots earned it.
-
Log Tavern Brewing Co. (Milford, PA)
Cozy, community-driven, and quietly excellent. The Dream Siiiickle was the standout beer in a diverse lineup, and the welcoming vibe of the brewery made it the perfect way to start our brewery year. Visited on 1/1/25! -
Wishful Thinking Brewing Company (Bethlehem, PA)
Bustling, local, and full of energy. With approachable lagers, easy-drinking hoppy beers, and a communal atmosphere, this spot feels like a true neighborhood hub.
Family Friendly Award – Needle Creek Brewery (Pennington, NJ)
Needle Creek set the bar for family-friendly breweries. With a playground, sensory-friendly spaces, and a growing beer list, it’s a place where everyone—kids included—actually has fun.
The Best Adult Birthday Party – Randolph Beer (Brooklyn, NY)
Arcade games, feather bowling, pour-your-own taps, and a rooftop seal the deal. Randolph Beer turns drinking into an experience—and one we’d happily celebrate again.
The Cozy Tap Room – Lost Elephant Brewing (Elmer, NJ)
Tucked into a rustic barn with a sunny lawn, Lost Elephant delivers warmth, charm, and thoughtful beer. Sacred Soil Saison stole the show and fit the space perfectly.
A Shared Experience – Blind Cat Beer Company (Pittston, PA)
Blind Cat closed our 2025 brewery visits. The brewery is pet-friendly, community-minded, and proudly quirky, it blends great beer with charity taps and a genuine love for blind cats. From creative brews to welcoming vibes, it’s a place that brings people together—and one we’re always happy to revisit. We’re also bias because of our own blind cat, Irwyn.
